With two categories of under 80 kg and over 80 kg and prize money of 10,000 euros, Italy is putting itself on the map of the most prestigious grappling events in Europe. The impressive list of participants, including top European stars such as Tommy Langaker, Sebastian Rodriguez and Espen Mathiesen, promises a spectacle of technique and passion. Other lesser-known athletes were able to qualify via so-called “TRIAL” tournaments throughout Italy.
