Leading the way was Andrea Stojadinov, who won a silver medal in the -48 kg category. The Serbian displayed outstanding performances and stood strong against tough competition.
Iva Oberan also secured a well-deserved silver medal in the -63 kg category, heading a strong Croatian team that took home a total of 4 medals. Additional medals for Croatia came from Lara Cvjetko and Andela Violic (both bronze in the -70 kg category) and Helena Vukovic (bronze in the +78 kg category).
Other IPPONGEAR medals were won by Hungarian Roza Gyertyas (bronze in the -52 kg category) and Dutch Jelle Snippe (bronze in the +100 kg category).
Each of these Judoka contributed to ensuring that IPPONGEAR was well-represented in Abu Dhabi.
With this impressive medal haul, we now look forward to the final highlight of the year—the prestigious Grand Slam in Tokyo in December. It will be the final tournament of the 2024 IJF season, and our athletes are ready to give it their all once again.
We are proud of the performances of our IPPONGEAR athletes and are excited to continue supporting them on their journey to success!
