Year after year, this event offers pure thrills - a rollercoaster ride of emotions that provides excitement on and off the mat. It is undoubtedly the highlight of German judo, characterized by spectacular techniques, explosive throws and thrilling fights.
The Remscheider TV Judoteam and the Hamburg Judoteam have qualified for this year's Final Four from the north, while the record champion TSV Abensberg and TSG Backnang have prevailed in the south.
There was one surprise even before this season: the reigning German champion, KSV Esslingen, withdrew its team from the Bundesliga. We are therefore all more excited to see who will take the crown this year and how our IPPONGEAR teams - TSV Abensberg and the Hamburg Judo Team - will perform in the tournament. Last year, these two teams already made it to the Final Four, with TSV Abensberg winning the silver medal and the Hamburg Judo Team finishing the season with bronze.
One thing is for sure: everything is possible this year. All 4 teams are on an equal level and the performance on the day will be the deciding factor in the end. We wish our teams all the best and look forward to the highlight of the season this weekend.
TSV Abensberg and the Hamburg judo team will once again be competing in the proven Fighter 2 judo uniforms from IPPONGEAR.
